What’s the cancellation policy?

Cancellations received via email to wcf@womeninconsumerfinance.com by September 20, 2025, will receive a full refund, less a $150 administration fee. Cancellations received via email between September 21-October 20, 2025, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after October 20, 2025 (though you may substitute another attendee at any time for no fee).

What’s the dress code?

The entire event is casual. Not business casual. Actual casual. Really! Everyone should wear what makes them comfortable: jeans and a cute top/sweater/sweatshirt, yoga pants and sneakers, etc. I just wouldn't come in shorts, as hotels are typically chilly. How awesome is this? It's like vacation, but at a professional event!

Do you share an attendee list?

We try to be exceptionally thoughtful at WCF to balance the spirit of making authentic connections (which is the primary goal of the event  –  because this is ultimately what leads to business) and not overwhelming attendees with solicitations. Here is our current approach; it applies to sponsors and non-sponsoring attendees alike:

Approximately 60-75 days prior to the event, we will open the conference app to those who are registered. You can't download a list, but you can see who is registered and sort by name and company. As people log in and edit their profile, they have the ability to make other info, including contact data, accessible to all attendees.

At the event, everyone will have a unique QR code on their badge. People can scan each other's badges using their mobile phones. This takes them to the app and allows them to see their new "acquaintances" contact info and also make notes specific to that person (i.e. we talked about traveling to Greece). The data for your acquaintances can be exported into a spreadsheet.

Immediately following the event, we share a full attendee list (including company, name, and job title) with all attendees. This doesn't include email, but allows people to have a way to jog their memory about people they met or shared the WCF experience with.
